Making Dreams Come True Jim's goal is to find the absolute best home for his buyers. Since 1990 he's helped 856 families buy and sell their dream home. He won't give up on a family until they have a home they want and can afford. Jim is especially sensitive to first-time buyers. He believes they need a Realtor in whom they can place their absolute trust. Jim considers this a special responsibility, one he takes very seriously. His Loan Officer, Diane Sansing of National City Mortgage is a genius in getting loans approved using a "common sense" approach to the process. A Career in the U. S. Navy Jim served 24 years in the Navy and really understands the needs and concerns of military families. His career provided him special opportunities as a counselor, a recruiter, and management analyst. He is a Viet Nam Veteran and is especially proud of his contribution toward creating and implementing the Religious Program Specialist (RP) occupation in the Navy. Foreclosed Homes Jim spent several years buying and selling foreclosures, sometimes at the courthouse steps. He has sold foreclosed properties for a mortgage company, and he keeps abreast of great values in this special niche market. Buying a foreclosed home can be an opportunity to get a great buy, but there are pitfalls. Jim will advise and counsel a homebuyer to gain the best result in a home search. He is proficient in REO, VA, HUD and other corporate-owned homes. Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) Jim has demonstrated a special focus on helping people buy homes. Jim received the ABR designation in June 1994 (one of the first and a charter member). When he began his career in 1990, he was buying and selling foreclosed homes for investors. This required him to focus on buyer representation long before most Realtors knew what it was. He has worked with hundreds of buyer clients and is a talented and gifted negotiator.
